Welcome! I'm Mrs. Lindsay McLean. I was born and raised in Camarillo and was a student in PVSD. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University and my Teaching Credential from Cal State Channel Islands. I have also lived abroad. I was fortunate enough to spend a year, teaching English, in Barcelona, Spain. I live in Newbury Park with my husband, Matt and son, Henry. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, reading, researching my family history, listening to Taylor Swift, and drinking coffee. I have been happily teaching 2nd grade at SRTMS since 2007!
In my classroom, I believe in kindness, respect for each other, and hard work. My goal is to create a (mostly) calm, engaging, structured, but fun learning environment. Please stay tuned for upcoming information about what students will be learning this year as well as important dates.
